Great Kettle
So happy with this Kettle ,it's made well feels solid .Very user friendly love the handle and the way it pours ,without a drip ! .The temp gauge is quite handy as you can tell if it's just boiled .Colour us great neutral and fits in well ,it's discreet and doesn't shout look at me ! .The light, on the on off switch is a warm orange so much nicer than blue.I checked out reviews for Haden customer support and it looks great ( I had previously had very poor customer service with an Italian company ) The kettle cones with a 2 year guarantee.So much to like I would definitely recommend.

Lovely Retro Kettle
This is the second Haden kettle we've had and we've been really pleased with them. We love the retro design as so many kettles are quite modern looking. The colour is called putty but it is actually a mid grey tone. It looks more of a grey colour than the image.

I love this kettle, I had one brought for me years ago and the switch has only just gone so ordered another one. It’s not heavy and easy to use, I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I love the look and will keep it, but I purchased due to it advertised as stainless steel interior, however there is plastic inside behind the measuring strips and the thermometer, fyi if you were trying to avoid plastic like I was

Pours lovely
This kettle pours lovely, and looks very smart. Love the colour. Only con is you have to have the kettle in a certain position before the lever will stay down. So you have to keep swivelling it on the base until it does, think it might be a safety feature .

It does and it's designed to do that, but it doesn't sit flush on it. Though that may be because it's still new.

If youve purchased it over 30 days ago, it is out of the Argos guarantee therfore you would have to go back to the manufacturer as the 2 years warranty will be with them not Argos

I can confirm the kettle itself is cordless but the base is corded. So the kettle sits on top of the base and boils, which is where the power comes through. Then you can take the kettle wherever you want once it is boiled.

The lid itself is stainless but there is an insert in the top that forms the handle. From above the top looks like a black plastic disc with a stainless border

I wanted that touch of lilac too, i wouldnt say it has though its more of a light clay/grey colour but it blends so well with lilac you wont regret it (my cupboard doors are grey/lilac colour)
