The chime we needed
Bought this to use with doorbell that was only connected to my phone been a god send

Didn't Work
Wouldn't chime no matter what, setup was all okay and the app showed it was connected. Every time the doorbell was rung this simply did nothing, I would like assume it was a faulty unit, but can't be sure

Great chime but read this as it will help
Firstly, there is a lot of misinformation on the internet about this mini chime. Some incorrect information also seems to have been directly from Eufy. I have the E340 doorbell which works great by itself. I then bought this mini chime as it has the capability of recording to a micro SD card. I used the Eufy app to install the chime to connect it to the doorbell and my internet. This was fairly easy to do. The last part of installation involved selecting the chime to record footage onto the micro SD card. The app instructed me to install a card then it asked me to format it. This was supposed to take around 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, progress was still on 0%. I then tried other cards with zero success. I then stopped the process and noticed on the home page that there was a window titled Eufyminichime (which is what I named my chime). I went into the Eufyminichime settings and managed to get storage changed so footage was recorded onto the mini chime. Footage was still not being stored to minichime, but the micro sd card had to be formatted by using the settings within the Eufy app. Then everything worked as advertised. The whole process should be a lot easier, but with perseverance, everything finally worked exactly as it should. Hope this helps.

I bought this a few weeks ago after buying a previous one. The volume is disappointing & can't be heard in different rooms apart from the room we chose to place it. Buying the 2nd one had been helpful. It was also quite difficult to set up the second one not sure how I got it to work!! Live in a house & can't hear either one upstairs. In saying all this once sorted I'm happy with my purchase
