I wanted this tree because it had so many lights! It was out of stock nearby but took the plunge and ordered to collect 20 miles away, when we got there the Argos worker said they had given our tree to someone else by accident! Gave us a refund but what we wanted was the tree! A few days later the tree came up in stock over 50 miles away, my heart was set on it so decided to once again make the purchase, luckily the tree was there and got it home to unbox and set it up…. It worked, for a day then all the lights just went, I checked all the connectors and fiddled about for hours to try to get it to work, I phoned up Argos customer services who told me if I took it to the nearest Argos they would be able to help find me the fault/try and fix the issue, got the tree to Argos to which they said no they are not able to do this and customer services were wrong. The worker in fact told me that another customer had this exact problem with the exact tree! So this whole experience has made me never want to order anything from Argos again! Plus we have no tree this close to Christmas. Awful service and shoddy tree that worked for a day.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat 7ft Pre Lit Natural Look Christmas Tree.
The tree comes in 3 parts. Details on assembling are as follows:
1) Place the tree stand on a flat surface and pull the legs out so they form an “X”.
2) Insert the pole with the tapered end into the stand and tighten the screw.
3)Attach the middle section to the bottom section and push down until secure. The branches will fold down easily
4) Insert the treetop into the middle section and push down into position (see Fig. 2).
5) The light chains are already pre-decorated on all three sections.
6) This tree has a Quick Connect function, so there’s no need to connect male and female connectors manually.
7) Connect the lighting chain socket to the adaptor (see Fig. 4), then plug the adaptor into an indoor mains socket. Check that all bulbs are lit.
8) Finally, shape the tree by arranging the tips and side branches to achieve a natural, full look.
