Customers Say
Sony Bravia 3 TVs offer excellent picture and sound quality with good build and features. Setup can be challenging, and some users report software and slow startup issues. Overall, a solid choice for quality and value.

Great picture, poor sound
Product is great in every way apart from two things,1- Screen brightness, I have adjusted everything and would still like it brighter, 2, Sound quality is poor, adjusted the equaliser and still poor.

Great picture
I bought this to upgrade from my existing Sony Bravia and its amazing quality, just what you’d expect from this premium product .

Fabulous picture and sounds quality
Bought this a week or two ago. The screen resolution is amazing. The TV is responsive and easy to use alrgough I’ve had to reboot it recently because it became unresponsive. Since the tv remains on standby, and I’ve been streaming, im wondering if it has something to do with never being fully switched off. I have no complaints at this point and I’ve been impressed with the tv.

works okay as basic tv
Bought new about a week ago, find the lack of software options poor compared to my new 9 mkII, when software menu should be uniform across ked RGB re angle, disappointing its not the same on a current model. Sound quality very poor, old Samsung it replaced had better sound quality

Good quality.
I'm very happy with this purchase. The picture, sound quality and features are of a high standard.

Excellent picture quality
Good TV disappointed about the PVR record function can't get it to work

Not Google again!
I’m unhappy with the tie in to Google. Some programmes show a blurred picture.
I am not telling
A disappointing purchase
Setup proved challenging: despite invoking a number of apps (ITVX, 4, 5) they did not appear on the home screen. I repeated the exercise and still nothing showed. Rebooting the TV and attempting for the third time did result in the apps displaying after rebooting a second time. We are very disappointed with the picture quality. So much so that we returned to the store to ask if, despite there being a sticker on the screen indicating that the film should not be removed, it should in fact be removed. We were told not to remove it, and we haven't, but the picture is slightly blurred as if the film is distorting it. We have tried altering several settings to try and resolve this but none has improved the picture. The sound quality is only average. Overall a disappointing purchase.

Great picture but TV stand footprint excessive
Bought a few weeks ago to replace a faithful 10+ year-old Sony Smart TV (43W755C). So far, so good with the new Bravia 3. Fairly straightforward to set up, albeit with the usual Google sign-in complications. Picture is a big step up in quality from the old HD TV. Sound takes some getting used to and is worth toying between table-top and wall-mount settings. A considerable number of features and options will also take some getting used to. The biggest bugbear is the huge footprint of the table-top feet - they are so wide, ridiculously so. To the degree that I'm having to buy a new TV cabinet, as I cannot angle the set anymore. You need more stand options, Sony. The old 43W755C had a nice central U-shaped bar that didn't take up so much room.

Hi Dave,
thank you for your question.
You can download any desired app on the K-43S3 using the Google Play Store, following the steps here: https://cutt.ly/GytDvX3G...
However, it's possible that some smartphone apps don't have an equivalent (yet) on Android or Google TV. Therefore, we recommend confirming this with the app provider directly.

Hi Steve,
thank you for your question.
No, the K-43S3 doesn't have Freesat as a built-in app; however, it has a built-in satellite tuner (DVB-S/DVB-S2) and a satellite input connection, allowing it to receive Freesat-compatible satellite broadcasts when connected to a suitable satellite cable.
You can learn more about how to receive satellite broadcasts on your TV here: https://cutt.ly/hyeMnQ1M...
If you're aiming to use a Freesat box, you can follow the steps here: https://cutt.ly/oyeMmwU6...

Thanks for the reply. The tv is capable of playing a fantastic picture because setting up my Netflix, Amazon, Now TV ect, it said, your tv is running at 1080p, do you want to upgrade for a fee, of course, and now the screen is stunning. So it has the capabilities if you pay in multiple subscriptions. However terrestrial tv is free, and nowhere in the settings can you upgrade the picture quality. Its like viewing tv in 90s - 2003. Please DO NOT BUY this tv. Its really upsetting for the money.
Hello Lisa,
I can advise the following for the Sony Bravia 3 43inch K43S35BP LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Google TV:
You would know if there was a film as it's clearly noted within the packaging and has tabs that you need to pull to remove it. The model here is stated to not have one.
In terms of your issue with the picture quality, we would suggest contact Sony on this to see if it's a display fault, they are best to answer the questions and troubleshooting as it's their product, we are just the selling platform.
Thanks for using Q & A.
