The Habitat Aliford Single Unit sorts bathroom clutter without claiming much floor space. It's a tall storage unit with two handleless cupboards and four shelves inside, so you've got options for toiletries, towels and cleaning supplies. Oak veneer vertical slats give it a clean, modern look that suits most bathroom styles. The lower shelf adjusts to different heights, so you can store taller bottles or stacks of folded towels. There's room for everything from spare toilet rolls to hairdryers. The handle-less doors keep it looking streamlined.

Good quality, reasonable price
Decided on this bathroom cabinet after looking at a few suppliers, the quality looked ok and the price was right. Firstly note that the unit weighs over 20kg so it's better to have 2 people to unpack and assemble it. The unit is advertised as "oak" but should say "oak effect" as it is plastic laminated particle board, as you might expect for the price. The unit is generally well designed and well made, with good quality fittings (and plenty of them). It took me around 2 hours to put together as there are a lot of bolts and screws and the instructions are pictorial rather than written. Personally I prefer to have a unit that is well bolted together, so no problem. The only issue I had was with the feet: these are poorly designed, the holes for the bolts are too small so I had to drill them out to enable the bolts to be inserted, and the pads for the bottom of the feet are made of very brittle plastic and broke when being tapped into place. No matter as I just glued some felt pads on instead. Most of the bolts are very tight fitting but coating them in furniture polish before fitting allowed the to be tightened up ok. Good product overall, minor design fault on the feet.

Not worth the money
It looks great when built but the instructions and quality is not worth the money - we had to fashion our own makeshift clamp to get the long screws into the legs using the Alan key - we struggled quite a lot! Also the white dots provided for the base of the feet don’t fit into the holes and when using a hammer lightly immediately, break off bc they’re very flimsy

Good storage for towels
I bought this cabinet to store towels. It looks good once completed however it was difficult to assemble. The feet are screwed in with an Allen key and you need great strength to do this. Also the plastic feet caps were difficult to hammer in and snapped off therefore we replaced with felt caps instead.

Good quality but
Firstly it’s a great product when put together, it’s a good quality and looks smart. I’m surprised that people found it so easy to put together, we had issues with the hinges. But most of all the feet are impossible to put on, the whole is far to small, we had to drill the holes bigger as there was no way an screw and Alan key was getting into the original holes, it was very frustrating.

Fabulous bathroom storage
The Aliford oak bathroom unit I bought is nice & sturdy, appealing to the eye, compliments lots of bathroom colour schemes. Best of all lots of super storage, easy open cabinets it is easy to clean Very happy with this product especially the amount of storage space

The doors on this Habitat Aliford Single Unit can only attach to the right side panel of the unit.
There are no pre-drilled holes on the left side panel to attach the door brackets to.
