If you're after a fridge freezer with personality, the Smeg FAB30RBL6UK Retro Fridge Freezer is worth considering. It has the rounded shapes and chromed details Smeg is known for, but beyond looks, it's a solid performer for storing fresh and frozen food. The freezer is up top, with the fridge below. The Multiflow cooling system keeps air moving so temperature and humidity stay steady, helping keep food fresher. Energy rating is C, it runs at about 34dB, and electronic temperature control lets you dial things in as you want.

There's a Lifeplus 0C drawer that keeps perishable foods fresher for longer, LED light strips on both sides so you can actually see what's in there, and adjustable glass shelves. The open door alert will give you a nudge if you've left it ajar, and if the power cuts out it'll keep things safe for around 20 hours.
