Hi I purchased a Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver on Oct 22, 2025. This is the 4th Philips 9000 series shaver i purchased. I purchased two Philips S9982/50 one for myself and one for my brother. I also bought a Philips S9000 Prestige shaver on a private sale. My i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver is by far the very best Philips Shaver I have ever had. It has a slick and beautiful design with different settings for a personal level shave. I'm extremely satisfied with my shaver. Please note on a personal level i have never used the cleaning pod and cartridge as I don't know how.

For £200. I expected perfection and it falls short of that, seems well made but can’t beat a wet shave closeness or sensitivity. Also trimmer is an add on so you have to fluff about to use the trimmer.

Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra
This is my first rotary shaver and it definitely performs better than my Braun foil model although that did require a new cutter which is no longer made. The Philips is quieter and doesn’t cause any irritation of the skin. I’m pleased with the purchase. Argos were the most competitive on price and their delivery service to my local Sainsbury’s hub, worked very well. Efficient all round
