Brilliant
I bought this radio for my husband as a Christmas present. He had a Roberts radio before which was very old and no longer worked. He is very happy with it. The sound is brilliant. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new radio.

Great radio
Upgraded from the Petite I didn’t want a large radio this sits well, great brand and quality build. I wasn’t sure about not having a built in rechargeable battery but the ability to use 4 x AA rechargeable Duracells was the decision clincher for me, they recharge in the radio or external charger, plenty of hours use on a set of batteries. Highly recommend Roberts and this radio.

Preset radio station function.
The radio is excellent. The sound quality cannot be faulted. So why such a low review? The preset radio station function is impossible to navigate!

Smaller than I envisaged but neat, easy to carry round, clear instructions, easy to set up. Very suitable for an elderly friend who needed to replace a Roberts radio bought in the 1960's.

The Roberts Rambler Uno Bluetooth/DAB+/FM Radio - Duck Egg will not recharge rechargeable batteries.

The radio will recharge NiMH rechargeable batteries. N.B. I believe there is a switch inside the battery compartment that needs to be set depending on whether you are using NiMH rechargeable batteries or non-rechargeable batteries such as alkaline.
