This radio is very easy to set up and has a very good sound. Really pleased with it.

Smaller than I envisaged but neat, easy to carry round, clear instructions, easy to set up. Very suitable for an elderly friend who needed to replace a Roberts radio bought in the 1960's.

I have had this Uno since Christmas and find it well made, good looking and sounds great. In fact, having owned many radios over the years, I don't think I have had such a small one that sounds so good. It has separate bass and treble controls, along with neat features like a sleep timer, perfect for not having the radio on all night after I have drifted off. Reception is good on both FM and DAB+. I purchased the travel pouch so I can keep it protected whilst travelling. It's good quality and stops the grille getting scratched or the leather effect casing getting scuffed. If you love radio as much as I do you'll love the Uno!

Rambler Uno - ace radio!
This exceeded my expectations considerably. It’s small, but not too small, and the sound is superb. I use it in my bathroom, so I use it cordless. The rechargeable batteries work brilliantly and do not affect the performance in any way. (I bought Panasonic Eneloop, expensive but work very well). It is really well made and has a top quality feel. Highly recommended.

The radio will recharge NiMH rechargeable batteries. N.B. I believe there is a switch inside the battery compartment that needs to be set depending on whether you are using NiMH rechargeable batteries or non-rechargeable batteries such as alkaline.
