About this product
The Aspire Fabric Ottoman Bed gives you somewhere to sleep while storing spare bedding, luggage or seasonal items out of sight beneath the mattress. It's upholstered in a textured linen-look fabric that stands up to daily use. The base includes flexible slats that provide responsive support, while a sturdy frame keeps everything solid and stable. A lift mechanism at the foot end makes it simple to reach the storage space underneath. There's a buttoned headboard included that adds classic detail, with metal feet that lift the frame off the floor.
The fabric-lined storage area inside measures 25cm high and runs the full width and length of the mattress space, so there's room for bulky items that don't fit in drawers or wardrobes. The end-lift design means you can position the bed against a wall without blocking access to the storage. The side rails sit at a comfortable height for getting in and out of bed, with 5cm space underneath for cleaning. I purcheased this ottoman bed shortly after purchasing a similar one from a nationwide chain. I assembled them days apart. The pricings were similar but I have to say this one from argos is superior in its construction and components used. One of my main concerns was the amount of storage so I chose one with the highest base and less obstruction from the moving parts. Very pleased with this purchase

We bought this bed and mattress via Groupon and are pleased that we did as for the price it’s very comfortable and handy to store underneath. The only issues we had were that it wasn’t advertised that it was a self build so we were a bit surprised when it arrived and unfortunately the measurements were for the bed base and not the headboard (being the widest part) so it didn’t fit the original gap between our fitted wardrobes but after some tweaking we were able to make it fit. The bed and base are very sturdy the only negative is that we found the black sheeting provided to go beneath the base was a waste of time and haven’t used it, but we’re still able to store plenty underneath it just means that it’s sitting on the floor which isn’t a problem.

Brilliant Bed!
Had been looking for an under bed storage bed for a while, came across this one and loved how it looked. Delivery went so well and they even helped my husband with it upstairs. Assembly was smooth, would recommend watching the video first, it makes the picture instructions a bit more understandable but easy to follow and can rewatch if unsure. We got the lighter one and it’s a lovely colour and material is good quality! I did get the mattress as well and it does the job but do think we’ll be looking to get a slightly larger one as it moves down a tad. Not a negative just a personal preference.
