Not as good as the other reviews say
The headboard is very flimsy and makes a lot of sound like its cracking when i lean on it with my back. Even though all the screws are tight and the steps are followed properly. The pillers in the headboard is also shorter than the frame of the headboard. So the pillers moves up and down. One of the pillars cracked. upon regular usage within weeks. And some woods came slightly cracked.

Brought this bed for my daughter, when I left came the head board pieces are all marked and the side panels were literally cracked where you lift the bed bit up. Aspire did send out replacement parts, the sides were fine but the head board was still marked. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Gorgeous bed
Bed is beautiful. But of a pain putting it together, took a good 3 hours and definitely needs two people. The fittings at the end of the bed are badly designed and I wasn’t able to fix one of them.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspire Atlantic Superking End Lift Ottoman Bed - White: The maximum occupant weight for a standard mattress is typically around 250 pounds (114 kg) per person, or a total of 500 pounds (227 kg) for a double-occupancy bed (full size and larger).
The mattress weight its self on a ottoman can is 65kg this is just for the mattress weight.

This has a fabric base under the ottoman part of the bed. There isn't a cover that goes on top of the items you are placing under the ottoman.
