One For All URC7956 Smart Pro 5 Universal Remote Control

Does not support all devices it claims to!

The only thing this remote control has going for it is the build quality, that's it! It took an age to even get the easy to use OFA app to find and connect to the remote, who knew you had to have location enabled just for a remote control? I checked before purchase that it supported all my devices, yet it failed to recognise all of the supported devices, even with OFA customer support, who were reasonably helpful. I ended up taking it back for a refund and stuck with my trusty older other make!

I bought this just after Christmas and it work ok, and after 2 weeks it stopped working? Half of the buttons would not work? Don't waste your time and money on it

Excellent for purpose, some experimentation reqd

This particular One For All is perfect for straightforward power sequencing and division of key operation. It would be good to add a concept paragraph to the manual to help understanding the different ways it operates (example: by device when first using Devices selection or by combination signalling after Activity->OK, maybe while blocking signal from the old mode. Key programming worked perfectly.

Excellent All In One Remote Control

Fantastic all in one remote capable of performing tasks for up to 5 devices. If you’re sick and tired of having multiple remotes, cluttering the living room then mysteriously disappearing when you need them, this is for you. Cutting back on batteries usage too, you’ll only ever need to replace these. The phone app is also a great feature that allows the user to program customisable macros to shortcut certain tasks you’d normally do with other remote controls in sequence. The app is an extension of the remote control allowing full customisation. I feel normal remote controls are analogue and redundant, once you discover this all in one tactic. It’s a new age.

This remote is great and very easy to use, you can use the remote for up to 5 different items. It is very easy to set up. It feels like a good quality remote - nice and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this product.

Nice quality remote and super easy to connect.

Great little remote! Easiest to connect via the app but can also be done without. Works just as expected, even with the special buttons for Netflix & YouTube - these all worked well on my Hisense TV. Overall, would recommend if you’re in the market for a universal remote :)

Great Idea! But Needs refining

I have a multitude of boxes under the TV. Sky box, xbox, playstation, sound bar etc, being able just keep 1 remote for multiple devices sounds amazing, but I don't know if I'd take the time to do it again. Sometimes it is just simpler to keep 1 remote for each item. Trying to find a code for my No-brand TV was trickier as expected, trying to then get the TV receiver to work with the TV via ARC and then also be controlled by the remote was a pain. I was annoyed I had to download yet another app on my phone but I liked that it enabled me to set up some nice routines rather than manually continually switching between devices.

Makes life much easier!

This remote has been a godsend! It’s not only super easy to sync to the tv but it’s eliminated the need for multiple remotes. The remote has Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube buttons for easy direct access (subscriptions still needed). The remote isn’t too heavy and has a nice feel to it and the buttons are bigger than on my usual remote so easier to see which is always a bonus.
