Works perfect
Straight out the box it just works. There's no set up or messing around and the signal never drops. It picks up sounds great and when we talk through it the voice quality is fairly good. I really like that it shows room temperature on the screen so it's easy to monitor.

Image is very clear. But I'm surprised it doesn't beep when baby cries. I could easily not hear this. But I expect it's normal among monitors, I can't compare.

Great Monitor, Clear Picture, Reliable!
The VTech VM5467 is a fantastic baby monitor! The large 5-inch screen is super clear, even at night, and the range is excellent throughout the house. I love the remote-controlled night light and lullabies — perfect for soothing our baby without going in. Setup was quick and the battery lasts a long time. Highly recommend for peace of mind!

Both sides do require mains connection. When wireless is mentioned it's referring to the connection between the camera and the head unit.

We don’t offer additional cameras for this model. However, you can use two separate VTech VM5467 baby monitor systems in the same location. Each system includes its own camera and parent unit (screen), and they are designed to work only with each other.

The VTech VM5467 video monitor is purely a in-the-home baby monitoring solution with no wi-fi app enablement, the product uses 2.4GHz technology.
Should you wish to go for a model with wi-fi (smart) which will enable you to monitor your child when away from the home, you will need one of the Vtech monitors with the prefix ‘RM’, an example being the VTech RM7787HD 7” Over-The-Cot smart video monitor.
