About this product
This wooden shed stores lawnmowers, wheelbarrows and larger garden equipment inside. It's made by Mercia with overlap board construction that encourages rain to run off and keep your belongings dry. The double doors open wide enough to move bulky items in and out easily. The windowless design keeps your stored items secure and out of sight. The apex roof provides headroom inside so you can organise your things comfortably.
The overlap boards are a traditional construction method that protects against the weather. The floor and roof use solid sheet board that supports everyday storage use. Annual treatment with wood preservative maintains water resistance. A lock is included on the hinged doors for security. Assembly takes two people and you'll have organised, accessible storage that keeps your garden equipment protected year-round.

Had the shed delivered was very unhappy about the way the shed had been made. Wood split here and there nail to even in the wood really ruff cut wood . The plans that is come with was stupid. The pictures of the shed on argos is not what you are going to get .the screws that it come with are rubbish 🗑 them use better screws not worth what they are asking for it in my opinion but after setting it up having hours of stress its up and now strong 💪 with better screws Andre timber strength

Poorly cut and fitted panels. Thin framing, boarding and flooring. Lower height than it looks in the pictures once you realise there's a foot off it. It'll do as a temp measure, but I'll likely end up building a proper 8x12 around it and turning it into firewood. If you get a few tools and don't need it straight away, I'd recommend spending up to double the amount at your local builders merchants and taking a shot at DIY. You'll have a 10x better job and feel much better.

This shed cost a lot of money and it definitely isn’t worth it.There are gaps where it doesn’t join properly and a dip in the roof.Cheaply made.Its doing the job but time will tell.

When the shed arrived the two main ends were damaged but rang me straight away to arrange delivery of replacements. Good quality and seems sturdy enough, bit shorter than the 12 x 8 I expected.

The supplier has advised the Mercia Wooden 12 x 8ft Overlap Windowless Shed floor OSB is 10mm, roof OSB is 8mm and felt is 3mm.

After speaking with our supplier, they have advised: 'The roof and floor is made from OSB (Oriented strand board) which is a type of engineered wood similar to particle board, formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations.
We also supply a roll of roofing felt to be applied to the top of the roof.'
