It looks really nice and feels strong, my only draw back is the wood was twisted and have to put a wedge under one of the legs so it doesn’t rock. I had a carpenter build it for me I watched him measure everything out and was assembled correctly. Hoping that once it’s weathered it realigns itself.

Just what we were looking for
We had been looking for an arbour in garden centres for a while. Couldn't find one that we liked. Saw this one and decided to order it. So glad we did. Its ideal. 87Came with free delivery and also 20% off which was a big help. Still to put the trim on the front but really pleased. Thankyou.

this was a good value arbour that looks ok. the only problem is that there are green marks all over it.

Lots of staining on wood due to pressure treatment
When the arbour arrived I was surprised and a a big disappointed at the amount of blue staining due to pressure treating the wood. The exchange offered no guarantee that it wouldn’t arrive the same. I accepted a small discount instead. But there was nothing in Argos description of this possible/probable staining. I think they may hand added it now. The arbour is lovely up, but will need staining/painting to cover all the blue patches. Which apparently decrease over time. But my view is that the staining was excessive and unsightly.

"Any garden paint or stain can be used on the garden arch (customers choice).
It is worth ensuring that there is no residue of the factory pressure treatment (possibly green marking) still coming through as this would affect the finish."

Jill, good morning and thank you for your question. The Cadiz arbour sections are 2 pre-assembled sides, 2 pre-assembled roofs, 1 pre-assembled back panel. However, a weighted down Silverline Tarpaulin 4.8m x 6.1m (246/4039) could be a suitable alternative.

Yes there is no issue with the Cadiz Arbour being sited on paving. The arbour can be fastened to paving using a metal foot or strong "L" shaped Bracket.

I can confirm that the height of the wooden back panel is set by the seat height as this is adjustable. This would be around 1390mm to 1400mm.
