POOR BATTERY LIFE
Camera itself is okay but the recommended batteries supposedly have a two year usage ( dependent on camera settings) don’t last long. We haven’t had the camera a year yet but have used 4 years usage of batteries - not great!!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Blink Outdoor 4 HD Smart Security Camera System - Pack of 1: You can set up specific motion capture zones on the Blink Outdoor 4 Camera through our feature ‘Activity Zones’.
How to Set Activity Zones on Blink Outdoor 4:
Open the App: Open the Blink app and tap the More (...) button on the bottom-right corner of the camera's thumbnail.
Go to Settings: Select Device Settings > Motion Settings > Motion Zones.
Update Photo: Tap Update Photo to ensure the grid is mapped to the current view.
Define Zones: The screen shows a grid. Tap the rectangles you want to exclude (make inactive). The inactive areas will turn grey and will no longer trigger motion alerts.
Save: Tap Done to save your settings

If continuous power for the camera itself is preferred instead of using batteries, a weather‑resistant USB‑C power adapter can be purchased separately.”
