Game changer
Ok, why on Earth did I not make this move years ago?! We’ve suffered for years and years with riding the volume buttons on the TV remote, turning it up for dialogue and quickly back down again when loud music comes on, giving me RSI in my thumb! This sound bar has changed all that, no longer having to adjust anything, clear voice for dialogue and decent balance with music. My wife hates the sub but me and kids love it, powerful bass and great for action movies and sound effects. The remote allows you to easily turn down the sub or turn it off. The sound quality is excellent and for under £100 it makes me wonder what more people are getting with more expensive models. Upgrade today and get this soundbar. I also split it with Klana, simples. I do like it. It’s fully Bluetooth, so I’m happy with that. It not as slick looking as other, but for the price it’s fine. Just wish it connected automatically.

upgrade your sound now!!
Incredible upgrade on the quality of sound compared to the TV speakers. Why on earth didn't I upgrade years ago! Music, sports and movies are finally pleasing to the ear (after some adjusting to get the right balance of levels between the Bar and SW), and dialogue is far clearer too (no need for subtitles anymore haha). 100% recommend.

You can connect the subwoofer to the soundbar using an RCA cable, and the soundbar will automatically connect to the subwoofer when powered on. If the connection does not work automatically, you can manually connect them by following the instructions provided in the user manual.

The supplier has advised the following for the Samsung HW - T420 2.1Ch Sound Bar with Wired Subwoofer:
"The Samsung HW-T420 soundbar primarily connects using an optical (digital audio) cable. If the customer’s TV does not have an optical port and they do not wish to use Bluetooth, the only alternative connection method would be HDMI-ARC, provided the TV supports it.
If the TV has an HDMI port labelled ARC, the customer can connect the soundbar using a standard HDMI cable and select the appropriate input on the soundbar. This would allow the TV to output its audio through the soundbar without using the optical connection.
However, if the TV does not have an optical port, does not support HDMI-ARC, and Bluetooth is not an option the customer wants to use, then unfortunately there would be no compatible wired method to connect this particular soundbar to the TV."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Samsung HW - T420 2.1Ch Sound Bar with Wired Subwoofer.
The soundbar can be wall-mounted above the TV if needed. While Samsung recommends positioning it below the TV for optimal sound quality, mounting it above is still acceptable and will function properly.
