No plastic packaging. Controller protected by a cardboard holder inside box which was nice to see. Connected to Switch via usb cable and paired straight away with no fuss. Same with gaming laptop.

Excellent price, connectivity and compatibility
The product works nicely with a Nintendo Switch and I’ve also tried it as a direct game controller for Samsung TV Gaming and it also works without issues. The battery life from a full charge is excellent, the responsiveness and range is excellent even with many other Bluetooth and WiFi products around.

Decent budget controller for the casual gamer.
I bought this mainly to use with a MacBook Air M4 and it is much better than expected! It is considerably lighter than a genuine Xbox controller, and the trigger buttons don't have the same weighted feel, but for casual use it is fantastic. To pair with a Mac press the 'home' and Y button at the same time to enable the correct connection type and that's about as difficult as the setup gets. Charging is via a USB-C cable, which is usefully quite fast as the battery lasts around 5-6 hours in use. One thing to consider is the layout of the ABXY buttons, because the controller is designed for the Nintendo Switch they are actually BAYX, which can cause a few mishaps if muscle memory comes into play; this is something I learned to my chagrin during GTA3 as instead of braking to go around a corner my character promptly exited the vehicle instead! But this aside, and for the price, the controller is great and worth it for the casual gamer.
