About this product
This high yield color ink provides up to 1.6x more prints than the standard equivalent. The tri-color ink tank is used for printing color documents and photos. This 13 ml color ink cartridge allows you to print up to 300 pages of A4 documents. Higher capacity and more cost effective.

Disappointed with amount of yellow in extra large colour cartridges
I’m afraid I’m rather disappointed, I bought xl cartridges to print my Christmas cards and though there was very little yellow in the design there was quite a lot of red and green. I printed about 80 and a brand new cartridge ran out of yellow and I needed a second. None of the other colours ran out as far as the test showed not even the red or green. I’m stuck with this type because of the printer I have.

Yes, you will need a black cartridge suitable for your printer , additionally some Canon printers require an additional 'Pigment' black cartridge.
