Purchased ink cartridge from Argos as it is convenient, price matches other supplies and it is convenient to collect from a near by store rather than wait for delivery. No problem with installing cartridge or the print quality of the cartridges. The printer only seems to work if using genuine HP cartridges, which is exactly what these are. My only negative comment is we do some colour printing but not use the blue red and yellow equally. So end up with unused cartridges. Cannot seem to be able to by the colours individually only as a pack.

I purchased this HP 903 Original Ink cartridge but
I bought this HP 903 Original Ink Cartridge from Argos and once fitted I didn’t use my printer for a few weeks but when I went to use it the printer informed me that this cartridge was out of ink and therefore the print was faint and unable to read! Will not buy ink cartridge from Argos again as it’s clear these are old stock and have dried out!!

Yes, the HP 903 Original Ink Cartridge Multipack - Black & Colour will work without Instant Ink. Signing up to Instant Ink is an option if desired once you have started to use the ink cartridges.

The ink you need for HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 is HP 953 but Argos does not sell that one.
