This item is excellent.It cleans floors and carpets. The carpets come up very clean. I would recommend the Bosch cleaner. Plus the service i received from Argos was excellent.

BOSCH Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
I especially like the digital readout of how many minutes are left in the battery. I like the different settings. I like the ease of using it - the tamping down of the dust in the collecton box. I do not like not being able to have the attachments on the stick to use as and when needed - if I forget to carry them, I have to go back to the vacuum station to collect. I do not like not having more attachments like a turbo head. I do not like the fact that if I want additional attachments etc I have to buy them extra.

Very pleased with this hoover. It is much lighter and quieter than my previous one. I have a dog that moults constantly so it’s important I am able to hoover both hard floors and carpets more than once a day. The battery charges rapidly and on auto mode it lasts 14 minutes which is ample time for my 120 square meter downstairs. Because of my dog I’m a bit ocd about keeping the hoover clean and this one is the easiest to clean I’ve ever seen! There is a button to press to empty the collection chamber and then a lever that pushes out any remaining debris. There is a neat system that helps to clean the filter. You just twist the filter and the dust falls out. Everything comes apart so I am able to get to every nook and cranny. That wasn’t possible in my previous hoover. For cleaning stairs you can attach the cleaning foot to the handle so it’s easier to use. The cleaning foot is quite narrow so can fit easily in small nooks. I miss the ability to break the hoover to clean under sofas etc but the benefits more than outweigh this downside. Would recommend it to anyone that needs an efficient cordless hoover.

Shame it doesn't run very long
I find this a little top heavy for a elderly person to use. On Echo mode the battery lasted nearly 60mins but only 15mins on normal. As for looking after filter it took awhile to get it apart very tight fit next time hopefully will be OK next time. The good points it does the job picks up well on all floors and easy to empty. Will probably get another battery in the future.

Great replacement for the bcs122gb
Ok so only just got this but can tell nice build quality, better than the bcs122gb that I've had for many years and is still going. Battery life is not great on turbo mode but with the ability to exchange batteries (I got 2x4.0ah) batteries and a fast charger it really doesn't matter (the whole reason I got Bosch as I have other power for all devices). Suction is great on auto mode and I like the way it automatically changes to turbo when it hits the carpet. The battery life indicator is a brilliant addition so I know how long before I need to change it and it is relatively responsive. Weight is fine even with a 4ah battery attached. It shows 65 mins on the 3ah it came with but only in eco mode. In auto 18mins still enough time to do downstairs and 10mins in turbo all with no attachments attached so not much difference to the bcs122gb but you get led lights on the brush head, battery indicator and suction is a bit better than the already excellent bcs122gb. So far well pleased, I hope it lasts as long as the bcs122gb👍🙂

It has MicroClean technology that detects and cleans invisible dust. It can be used on both carpets and hard floors. It also has a HEPA filter suitable for allergy sufferers. It doesn't make much noise and has good battery life. And, the design is really cool.

Hello Ollie, Both vacuums are suitable for multiple flooring types so it would be personal preference . The Bosch unlimited 9 cordless Vacuum s designed to prevent hair tangling, making it suitable for homes with pets. The Bosch Unlimited 7 Auto Detect Cordless Vacuum is designed to effectively handle pet hair, particularly the ProAnimal variant, which features a mini brush roller specifically designed for pet hair removal. Which one you choose would be up to you but both vacuums seem to be suitable for you.
