The Argos Home Heathdon Small Double End Lift Ottoman Bed gives you somewhere comfortable to sleep and solves the storage problem in a compact bedroom. The textured woven fabric frame keeps things tidy, while the end lift ottoman opens up to reveal 500 litres of storage space underneath. That's room for spare bedlinen, seasonal clothes, or anything that's cluttering up your wardrobe. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress properly and help it last longer. The upholstered frame feels solid and looks neat in smaller bedrooms where every bit of space counts.
The headboard's included, so everything arrives together. The end opening ottoman lifts smoothly without needing to move bedside furniture out of the way. Storage space inside measures 25cm high, 124cm wide, and 193cm deep, enough for bulky duvets or folded blankets. The siderails sit 31cm off the floor, making it easy to get in and out of bed. Easy to assemble, great storage
Purchased 2 weeks ago, delivery went smoothly and assembly was surprisingly easy. I did this mostly alone with a little help from my 12yr old daughter so that goes to show how easy to assemble it was. The storage is easily accessible, not heavy to lift with the mattress and has really increased the storage availability in the bedroom. Would highly recommend

Small double Ottoman. Very comfortable. Good storage. Would be useful if they made an instruction video link or QR code for a video to make set up easier for someone who has never purchased an ottoman before. Set up time roughly 3 - 3 1/2 hours. 2 people required.

good but assembly instructions need improvement
It's decent, but the instructions for assembly could be MUCH clearer in terms of which way the poles and parts go, too many times I assembled without realising, oh these holes should be on the other side which meant taking apart and putting back together again. As for the ottoman mechanism its sturdy but also a bit more difficult to lift and open compared to my previous one, hopefully this one stays intact and the mechanism doesn't damage the wood to the point of it breaking.

Brilliant bed lots of storage
My daughter loves this storage bed. I even managed to put it together myself in a limited space with no issues. The instructions were clear and simple to follow, it looks great, and has tons of storage. I have no idea what she keeps in it, but her room no longer has clothes and her stuff all over the floor. It was well worth the money, which wasn't a lot since it was on offer for £110. Fabulous buy, highly recommend if you are thinking of purchasing.

Looks good, flawed design
I bought two of these beds from Argos. Assembly wasn’t straightforward due to poor instructions. On the second bed, the gas-lift springs up too abruptly, so you need to be careful when opening it. The ottoman storage is disappointing- the base is just a Velcro sheet, so anything stored inside sits directly on the floor rather than in a proper compartment. The headboard is also fixed to the frame, making it awkward to move between rooms. That said, it does look nice once assembled, but overall the quality and design fall short. Make sure you get good quality mattress.
