The JBL Flip 7 is a portable Bluetooth speaker that brings your music with you wherever you go, with 2 internal speakers and a tweeter design that delivers bass and clear treble across the volume range. It connects to your iPhone, iPad or any Bluetooth device and fits easily into bags for park hangs, beach trips, or moving between rooms at home, making it a practical choice when you want sound that travels with you.
You get up to 16 hours of playback from a single charge, with an option to extend that further if needed. The speaker is compact and lightweight, and Auracast lets you stereo pair two Flip 7 speakers for a wider soundstage or link multiple compatible JBL speakers to fill more space with your playlist. It charges via USB (adapter not included), works with the JBL Portable app, and comes with the rechargeable battery included, backed by a 2-year guarantee.

Very happy with our purchase - great sound
Invested in the Flip 7 to replace a cheaper & smaller bluetooth speaker bought to take on holiday which died after a week of use. JBL speakers in general seem really popular and I have to say this one doesn't disappoint, even if it *is* a little larger than we'd have liked. Unlike some of the smaller JBL models the sound from this is fantastic and, given that we live in the UK & many of our outdoor adventures include rain, it's also great that this one is incredibly waterproof. Easily connected to our phones, and battery life seems good too. Great purchase.

The reason why I said 4 star is because its only works on Bluetooth.y last one flip 2 was bluetooth and analogue. My old mp3 player is not bluetooth. I have got a new mp3, but we haven't download anything yet.

However, it supports USB-C audio streaming, allowing you to play music from a laptop, tablet, or phone via a USB-C cable. Connect the cable and hold the play button for at least 10 seconds to activate wired audio mode.

Our JBL Flip 7 supports lossless audio playback through its USB-C port when connected to a compatible device (such as a laptop or another audio source that supports digital audio output). This allows the speaker to play lossless audio when using a direct USB-C digital connection. However, our Flip 7 does not support analog/auxiliary input.
Thanks for your question. There is no harm in leaving your JBL Flip 7 connected to electricity at all times. Once fully charged, it will cut off the current to protect the battery.
Yes, our JBL Flip 7 speaker uses a Type C USB cable for charging.
