I have bin a gopro user for many years . I never thought I would change cameras. I took a chance on the insta 360x5 and all I can say is wow . I am so impressed with this camera The technology is off the charts. I recommend this camera and the best place to buy it is Argos hands down

Amazing camera

Best Action Cam EVER!
I love to cycle loads, explorer, countryside, towns, villages, citiesd etc and am always stopping to film/take photos. Now with the Insta360 x5 I don't have too. The great thing also is, I can also be in the shots/videos!! The quality of the product is excellent, the quality output of footage/photos is excellent All in all, the whole setup is by far way more than I ever expected and I am sure it will get even better as I move forward and learn more

I'm a terrible camera man. Being an now to shoot in 360 then reframe afterwards was very compelling as be the insta360 X5 makes the was simple as it can be. I would highly recommend it.

Issues and in someway a downgra compared to the X4
Firstly the X5 was supposed to be an upgrade iver the X4 which it is and isn't?? Firstly the upgrades that it has got - Pureview that works great, Changeable lenses and battery battery life Now for the downgrades, can't zoom in without everything being out of focus (unlike the X4 which was brilliant), Recorded video quality in 8K and 4K looked OK when viewing at the centre but had a lot of blurriness on the sides/edges was wasnt in the middle that just looked horrible, New so called improved large microphone is just a gimmick and laughably it was placed on the back of the device so no advantage it you are looking at its main screen (the X4 was on par to sound quality in my testing) My unit had the screen go erratic after just 15mins each time that I used it regardless to if using in 4K or 8K and the unit still being at a low temperature to the touch, low light Pureview just looked unnatural and again the X4 just out performed it in low light when it came to focus and clarity (including when zoomed in in post production that was over the ½ way zooming capability) I Sent back the X5 after my testing with this unit and a friend's X5 and I have now rebought the X4 and I'm now much happier and saved a lot of money In all honesty as a YouTube Tech reviewer and advisor give the X5 a miss because clearly to make the removable/replaceable lenses work insta360 has to sacrifice the video quality to do this !!?? - and again the new large microphone just isn't up to what insta360 claim it to be (the insta360 Ace Pro 2 newly designed microphone however is incredible and is definitely a huge upgrade on that model so don't be confused and mislead between these 2 cameras)

Insta360 typically recommend you purchase a 256GB Micro SD card. This should provide ample storage for your 8K 360° video captures and other high-resolution footage.
