About this product
The Elmdon Memory Double Divan Bed gives you a comfortable night's sleep with extra storage built in. It's a complete set with mattress and base, so everything you need arrives together. The mattress has an open coil spring unit with 288 springs for medium firm support, while a 20mm layer of memory foam moulds to your body shape. Soft cushioning underneath adds comfort without going too soft. The knit cover has a quilted finish that feels pleasant against bedding. It's a no-turn mattress, you just rotate it regularly to even out wear.
The divan base sits on chrome feet and comes with four storage drawers, two on each side of the bed. Each drawer gives you space for spare bedding, clothes or things you want tucked away but within reach. The base comes in two pieces for easier delivery and setup, minimal assembly needed with two people recommended. The fabric-covered base is durable and supports the mattress properly. You can pair it with a matching Elmdon headboard if you want to complete the look, sold separately. Supports up to 203kg. One year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Checked maximum user weight before I paid. When it arrived I could tell it wouldn't last. One part of the base is broken only 2 weeks from delivery. Mattress is OK though

Good for the price
Seems good so far. Base looks solid although would have preferred metal attachments, instead of plastic, that I had with my last divan bed. Mattress is a bit noisy with springs making noise sometimes. Don't know if that's normal as not had a spring mattress in many years. Overall, the bed and mattress seem good for the price paid. Looking at double that price and more for a branded version of the same.

I bought 2 of these beds, for my great grandchildren, age 5 and 8 years old ,they are well made, the children love THERE'S, the beds are well made and look strong, also the benefit of the storage is great not so many toys are all over the floor, so pleased with them.thank you argos
