I purchased this hairdryer 3 weeks ago after looking at reviews on various makes and previous experience of Babyliss. The three heat settings are good as are the 2 speed settings although I use the lower one normally. It's lighter than my old dryer and quieter too. I'm very pleased with it do far.

The supplier has advised the following for the BaByliss Rose Lustre 2400 Hair Dryer:
The BaByliss Rose Lustre 2400 Hair Dryer is not dual voltage and should only be used in places with 230-240 volts.
We do not recommend using this in countries with a different voltage. Brazil has not got a standard voltage some are only 120 and some are 220, depending on the area, so we would not recommend using this in Brazil.

I have checked the manual for you. It states that there are 3 heat and 2 speed settings plus the cool shot button. If you press the cool shot button it should work.
