I have checked and ceiling paint is not ideal for using on wood, it is advised to prime the surface before hand.

I wouldn't think so, best seeing if they do this shade in furniture paint.

I like the quality and consistency of this paint however this shade looked more like blue on my walls (2 coats) rather than grey it was for a large living room with 2 big windows but I had to get another grey to cover it up unfortunately

To be honest we are going for a refresh of the colour. We initially did 2 coats and it was fine. We are now applying 2 more coats only because we are decorating because of lockdown boredom. Depending on the light in the room it could be a bluey grey but mine definitely looks grey. My husband absolutely loves working with this paint and he rates it very highly. Hope this helps.

The Johnstone's Wall & Ceiling Paint Matt 10L - Manhattan Grey is ready to use as it is. We would not recommend mixing with any otherprodeucts or diluting with water.

The Johnstone's Wall ; Ceiling Paint Matt 10L - Manhattan Grey is not as washable as the silk paint which has a silk finish.
I have added the link below for the silk paint, we only do it in 5 litre tins.
