Samsung lock in apps
As usual with Samsung , a lot of thier Apps pre loaded that present themselves first for use, eg Samsung Notes, Pass, Health, the awful annoying Bixby, Galaxy AI, One UI skin for exmple, all need a Samsung accont and in total take away 21.7 Gb of memory.. Coming from a near stock Android, ,on a Motorola phone, that served me well for 6 years, I found the Samsung initially a challenge, thier One UI got in the way and Bixby intrusive. On the positive side, the 6 years OS & security updates is reassuring (and only reason I changed my Motorola!).

I bought the Samsung Galaxy A26 as my works phone went back. Considering this is a low to middle device it is excellent. It's connectivity is really good and it has just updated to the latest version android 16 with ease.

The Galaxy A26 5G uses a hybrid SIM tray, meaning you can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card, but not all three at once. So, adding extra storage with a microSD card will take up the second SIM slot

While the A26 5G doesn't have a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, you can use USB-C headphones or a USB-C adapter to connect your headphones. Hope this helps, Paul!

The Galaxy A Series, including the Galaxy A26, doesn't support Wireless Charging. However, you can make the most of its 25W wired Super Fast charging.
