Solid Blu ray player
Bought this after my PS3 finally packed in. Doesn't come with a HDMI cable - but that's fine, I used my PS3 one. Easy to use interface, discs load quickly and the images are clear with good colour depth. I can get back to enjoying my collection, rather than relying on streaming.

Thank you for your question.
No, the BDP-S1700/K is region coded- which means that it can only play discs from the same region as purchased. The player has a region code printed on the bottom of the unit and will only play BD-ROMs/DVD VIDEOs labelled with identical region codes. So, if you purchase your player in Europe (region B)- it will only play region B discs. You can find the full specifications here: https://cutt.ly/BrQfpqn6...
