Great device
I bought this blue ray player a week ago to replace an older one, it was very easy to set up and simple to use. It has a quick startup and is very responsive with great picture and sound quality.

Good little player
I bought this a week ago and although smaller than I imagined, the blu ray picture is excellent and I am really pleased with it.

A solid player that does it's job very well
This is an excellent cheaper player that as long as you know that you are getting a no frills machine, it will do it's job very well Firstly, the picture quality is astounding, brilliantly good, it upscales normal DVD films to 1080p, and they also look superb. Sound wise, I use a soundbar, so have only been able to test this in downscaled format, as the coax out is only in Stereo. If you want full surround sound, you will need something like a Dolby Atmos surround system, and must use the HDMI. Also, there is no wireless connection, the player has to be wired to the internet, but to be honest, it doesn't really need to be, the only function for this is to update the player, it does not have any streaming services installed. The menu system is simple, with only Blu Ray, USB and Settings to choose from, the latter is easy to navigate and has a host of options to get the user watching in no time. The USB menu is easy to navigate, but does get a bit laggy if the USB device has many files Overall, a cheap player with exceptional playback of both Blu Ray and DVD. It is tiny and will fit in the smallest gap.

Nice Player
Not used a DVD player for a while, thought I'd get a new one, as my last one is not HDMI. Seems okay, like the option of plugging in Memory Sticks to watch Videos (Although I can already do that on the TV) plus it is my first Bluray player... although as yet don't any such disks to play. Can't go wrong with Sony.
