This chest of drawers is very attractive and the drawers open and close easily. I might have preferred that the finger openings were a couple of millimetres deeper, but otherwise perfect. There is no assembly required which is an absolute bonus. It was only galling to find it £65 cheaper the following week!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The castors are only placed on the item for transportations purposes only , we recommend that they are removed before the item are in situ of the room in the property.
If they are left on it will be at the customer own risk as there is a possibility that if all the drawers are open together then the chest could tip forward as the chest can become unstable.

No, only the top and the drawer fronts are high gloss, the sides and bottom plinth are a matt finish.
