Decent, to be fair. Powerful, lightweight, and it went through a sizeable piece of oak like butter. It does seem to get through oil quite quickly, but overall it's an easy 10/10 for performance. Definitely worth the money.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the McGregor 40cm Electric Chainsaw - 1800W: ''If in any doubt about the suitability of the tool for any particular task, an expert should be consulted.
It is not recommended to use the chainsaw at ground level, due to the increased risk of catching.
This could cause kickback or debris/stones to be launched by the blade, both of which can cause serious injury to the user or others.
Touching the ground will also dull the chain, making the tool less effective and the work harder.
The intended use of the tool is to cut logs, branches or tree trunk at an accessible height, not a stump in the ground.''
