Great Product - Accessory Gripes - Nectar Issues
Excellent product, does everything the spec says and is fast, convenient and responsive. It was a replacement for a previous 6 year-old Tab 5 and the transisition was seamless and intuitive. A transfer of data happened without a hitch. Two minor gripes: the S-pen is very easy to lose and there is no facility for a lanyard or other attachment and it's not possible to track the pen. Argos doesn't stock the dedicated Samsung case/keyboard for this tablet which is really crucial for making it a neat,compact 'laptop'. After market products are bulky, heavy and functionally poor. My biggest complaint is that I'm a Nectar a/c holder and paid for this purchase with a Nectar credit card. I don't recall being asked when I made this online purchase if I had a Nectar card and when I collected from the Saisburys Hastings Argos store they declined to add the points. I had to phone the Argos helpline to get them added. Given this was a high value purchase (£420) this mattered. Also the Argos website is currently faulty and I wasn't able to register my Nectar credit card with Argos , so missed out on further points.
