About this product
Block out unwanted light and enjoy restful sleep with this blackout roller blind that creates complete darkness whenever you need. The blue fabric keeps your room pitch black, whether you're napping or enjoying a lazy morning without disturbance from street lamps, cars or early sunlight. Made from fabric with a PVC bottom rail that rolls smoothly, the chain mechanism fits on either side to suit your window layout. The blind measures 180cm wide and can be trimmed to fit your exact window size, ensuring a perfect fit inside or outside your window recess.
It comes with all fixtures, fittings and instructions needed for installation. The blind is wipe clean, keeping maintenance simple. It meets 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120 and includes a child safety P clip to secure cords. To ensure child safety and comply with regulations, always fit P clips or cleats to keep cords and chains out of reach. Our fabric provides complete blackout, though light may come through around the edges depending on the curtain header, pole and its position. It's backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

Disappointed size not what it says.
I bought these blinds after reading that the blind size was 60 and 90cm. Left my husband at home to fit them. Came home to discover the blind size is 56 and 87cm so although they are decent as a blackout it is counter productive as there is 1cm either side of the blind where the sun beams in. Disappointed.

Be gentle
Easy to put up and colour is great, but have bought two of these blinds and they have both came down when opening or closing. Haven't pulled or tugged too hard but just came away from the fitting. Other than that, they're ok and probably ok for the price. Do block out the sun, but be gentle with them!

Good value, no side fix option
Bought 2 for shading the kitchen. Colour is nice (light blue). Thickness is good with silver reflective back. Be aware that the brackets do not have mounting holes for side fix on a recessed install. I couldn't top fix due to a steel lintel. Ended up drilling extra holes in the brackets, but needs extra care to align. Easy enough to trim to size with hacksaw and scissors. Brackets are plastic only and top pole is very thin metal. Works nicely but we'll see how durable it is. Bottom plastic bar could be heavier. For the price, very happy.

Holes in it
Brought two days ago my husband had to trim it down to fit . It wasn’t until hung it and set out and stood back he noticed several small holes . Tried to email Argos but it replied saying they did not recognise my question. As because I’d already cut it down won’t could be done.
