About this product
The Bush Sintra Portable DAB and DAB FM Bluetooth Stereo Radio delivers clear stereo sound at home or on the go, tuning into DAB stations, FM favourites, or streaming via Bluetooth. With 20 presets (10 DAB, 10 FM), switch between shows at the press of a button. The 2.4-inch TFT colour LCD shows station names and track details, dimming automatically in standby. The dual alarm wakes you to radio or tone, with snooze for extra minutes. Both work when plugged in using the supplied AC and DC adapter.
Take it to the garden or workshop on 4 x C batteries (not included) for up to 8 hours at half volume, though higher volume or Bluetooth use will shorten that. The telescopic aerial extends for better DAB reception, and a 3.5mm AUX-in socket lets you plug in older MP3 players or tablets. The headphone socket allows private listening. Compact and lightweight, it fits on a kitchen worktop or bedside table and is easy to carry room to room. It delivers 4 watts RMS through built-in stereo speakers, ideal for bedrooms or small spaces. Includes a mains adapter and a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Very Pleased with this DAB radio, if you want a good general use radio. Sound is good but not if you want rich smooth sound and base, then this isnt the radio for you. No problem with reception display looks good. I am very pleased with it!

Totally Unacceptable
Sound quality is abysmal. Only wanted to listen to speech radio (e.g. Radio 4) but it was dreadful. Cheap Android phone has much better quality speaker.

Easy to set up and use.
Great radio, I wanted dab+ for the extended range of stations and this radio certainly pulls them in. Very easy set up and has ample number of pre sets but it is easy to simply scan the available stations. I have only used it on the mains supply so I cannot comment on battery longevity. This one also has wake up alarm and snooze functions which again I haven't needed yet but the detailed instruction book would make setting those an easy task. Clear easily readable display helps make operating this radio very easy. Clear sound with both speech and music stations. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this radio.

Everyone Loves A Nice Bush!
Everyone loves a trusty old Bush! I know I do! What's not to like about one? Some people seem to think that Bushes have gone out of fashion, but I think they're classic! Just how a Bush looks, from as soon as you set your eyes on one, it's ergonomics are perfect...it makes your mouth water at the mere thought of getting it going and the reception it's going to give you! I simply followed the instructions, pressed the right buttons, dived on in there, and I was not disappointed. After a few deft twiddles, the noises it made were an absolute delight. I would recommend everyone to get themselves some Bush action!

Very Poor Sound
Unfortunately I had to return this item as the sound was so poor I couldn't face listening to it. It's a shame as all the other expects were very good. Well designed, nice looks, very easy to select pre-sets and excellent reception. But if the most essential feature - the sound - is so bad you can't listen to it then it's a fail. The sound is so bad that with speech the presenters sound like they have a lisp or are slurring there words and with sound there's a constant buzz in the background. Awful.
