Quick boiler and easy filler
Easy to fill with the wide opening at the top but its best feature is the controlled pour. Also this boils very fast compared to cheaper kettles.

Leaking lid
I Paid 40 pounds for this kettle original price was 50 pounds the saying goes you get what you pay for but 40 pounds for a kettle you would think it should be good when I have had kettles at 18 pounds before with no problem and lasting over 3 years but the lid on this is leaking every time you pour a drink so it will be going back and I’ll be reverting back to a kettle what’s half price of this one.

Limescale is built up from the water provided, however the Russell Hobbs Illuminated Matte Black Kettle 27550, does have a limescale filter so that this is not transferred to your drinks.
Limescale may build up and need to be removed in most kettles.
