About this product
The Bose TV Speaker is a compact soundbar designed to make dialogue clearer and lift your overall TV audio without dominating your living room. It's properly small and sits neatly in front of most TVs or tucks onto a shelf, and inside are two full-range drivers angled to spread sound wide across the room, plus a dedicated centre tweeter that sharpens voices so you catch every word of dialogue without rewinding.
It's a 3-channel system with Dolby sound processing and Bluetooth built in, so you can stream music from your phone when the TV's off. Connection's simple with HDMI or the included optical cable, and there's a remote in the box plus auto power-off to reduce energy consumption. It's light enough to wall-mount if you prefer, though fixings aren't included. You get the soundbar, remote, optical cable, power cable, quickstart guide, and a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Top quality and easy to use
I bought this sound bar to mainly help improve sound quality when watching films and day to day TV, especially speech as so many films the speech is so mumbled. So the speech enhancement was a draw and works really well. Overall I am very pleased! The sound is excellent without having to be turned up very high, especially when its coming from such a small bar. The set up is very easy. The remote is simple to use and functional. I would recommend using an HDMI from the get go, rather than the optical cable to connect it to the TV as this allows you to use the existing TV remote to turn the sound up and down. For a while trying to use two remotes was a bit clunky. Also, I had an incident where the dog ate the Bose remote control the 3rd day after I got it. I had used the optical cable connection to start with, so it nearly left me unable to use the sound bar. Fortunately I upgraded to the HDMI connection so this negated having to use the Bose remote control any more. One thing I did find at this time was that there are no manual controls on the speaker itself self i.e power button or volume control. This would be very useful as a back up should anything happen to your controller. I would recommend to anyone and did to my sister in law when she was thinking about getting a sound bar and she bought one to.

I’m happy with the Bose
Bought last week set up in 2 mins plug in away you go, like the fact that you don’t need to switch it on when you switch on the tv sound will come through automatically just don’t turn off at the control plus only 2 things on the little pad to worry about one being bass and one Bluetooth the other is tv on / off and volume it doesn’t show volume on the Bose itself just a green light on red light off nothing else I like that…It’s a good sound I like deep bass so it’s good for me, the dialogue doesn’t go out of sink it’s nice and neat under the TV and the surround sound is also good having a built in amplifier with 3 speakers you can stream your music from Spotify with ease, , I have a Sony sound box in another room tv on top of that and I do like that but when I listen to the Bose in the front room the difference is night and day you can certainly tell the Bose is on….This doesn’t have WiFi which I don’t need but it does come with the optical cable which is a bonus really and I was lucky to buy it when it was £199 so very happy as it’s gone back up to £269 but it’s still worth the buy 😊

Not he Bose sound I expected.
I expected to be able to tailor the sound to suit my envronment. I bought it hoping to get much better dialogue clarity and was dissapointed. The Bose Mini Link I already have gives a better and more understandable speech.

Bose operating awareness
The product is great quality sound. Bose do not issue straightforward operating instructions for a 75 year old customer.I needed to know how to use with my new Bose 500 Bass and struggled,unsure if working. Need basic operating instruction cards printed. Would love a training visit to the Shard!

Good delivery and well packed. This soundbar proves you buy cheap no result but the Bose soundbar gives excellent results especially the increase dialogue. pity cannot see the volume. Dee Highly recommend.

Totally underwhelming
I spent so long researching sound bars. Eventually went for this one. £180 of total underwhelming performance. Ok, voice sounds great but everything else rubbish. Films rubbish. Music rubbish and tinny. This whole thing is hardly better than a decent TV. Argos were excellent with a no faff return

Great things come in small packages!
I bought this to supplement my terrible TV speakers. Originall I was using a little.anker soundcore 3 but I was getting a little frustrated with having to mess with bluetooth and charging. I nearly went for the solo series 2 but read this had better sound and a few nice to haves like eARC HDMI, so I didnt need to mess around so much. Set up is easy, though I do think having an app for showing the activated settings, or maybe a subtle display for things would be nicer than just 2 LEDs. I'm running it as it is out of the box and doing using the voice boost for shows. Honestly, the sound coming from this is phenomenal. Obviously if you get all the supporting gizmos subwoofer and the likes it would be better. Also ai know a huge soundbar with more speakers and all that would also be better. That said, out of the box, plug and play experience is great. The sound carries really well too. If you're wanting a solid sound upgrade for a TV but dont want a huge bar, this is it.

Yes, this speaker works with the LG oled48c26lb TV, you connect it using the optical audio port on the TV, the cable to do this is provided with the Bose TV speaker.

"In regards to your question about the compatibility of the Smart Ultra Soundbar to a Samsung Smart TV, Yes that will be compatible and when it comes to the connection we highly recommend you to use an HDMI cable thru your TV's HDMI ARC."

According to the TV manual the TV isn't Bluetooth enabled. This wouldn't be suitable over bluetooth, but can over HDMI ARC.
