My son is really happy. He can assign actions to the additional buttons. It has a good battery life. Very easy to set up on the console.

Great controller
Amazing controller but a little expensive

Great in your hands!
This is such an improvement over the prior switch 1 pro controller. Sadly the triggers are still buttons but to compensate they have 0 friction joycons which make it feel so smooth while playing. Definitely recommend for docked play!

Excellent controller in every aspect.
Item was available literally minutes after i placed the order. Works fine, it's quite a bit more expensive than the generic Bluetooth controllers on Amazon (£65 instead of £30) but having tried a couple of them, can absolutely say that this is the best controller I've ever owned (and i have owned many). Worth saving up for if you need to, just worth every penny. Battery life is marvelous. It's also worth noting that other current consoles controllers are at least as expensive when bought separately.... Some cost even more. So any complaints about price are not really valid (need to compare apples vs apples).

Well made controller. You can turn on the switch 2 using the controller as long as the switch is on sleep mode. Very glad I purchased

Is the Switch 2 Pro Controller worth it?
I recently exchanged a faulty Switch Pro Controller for the Switch 2 version, that had developed stick drift. While already having multiple switches. I grabbed the original Pro controller as it was cheaper on my Switch 2 purchase on launch. While the original is perfectly functional (and a little cheaper) and if already owned, doesn't make the Pro 2 Controller an essential purchase. The Switch 2 Pro Controller feels slightly better in hand and the sticks give more direct control. Not to an extent that it makes the original worthless. But it's definitely noticable in BotW and TotK. Definitely a preferred choice over the original, but not an essential purchase if you own the original. But definitely should be the only option for an official controller, when it's time to replace.

A great controller for the price.
Much nice than using the joycons for longer gaming sessions!

Hello Shane,
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Wireless Controller - Black, does not have the ability to remotely power on the Nintendo Switch 2 if it is powered off. You would still need to manually press the power button on the console itself to turn it on. However, if the Switch 2 is in sleep mode, the controller can wake it up wirelessly.
Thank you for using Q and A.
