The pole is made of two sections. Both have the same black finish and made of the same material (metal), so both looking the same. The difference is that, being telescopic, one of the sections has a slightly smaller diameter than the other.

Yes you do get just one in the pack. The pole is extendable so as to allow you to fit it to a wide range of window opening widths. It can be between 120cm and 210cm in length. As it's telescopic, with one part sliding into the other, it's made up of two sections, one of 16cm diameter and one of 19cm diameter.
