About this product
The Habitat Kyoto Bedside Table keeps your night time essentials within reach without cluttering up your bedroom. It's a compact design with clean lines that fits neatly beside your bed, holding your phone, book and bedside lamp in one spot. The solid pine frame gives you sturdy storage that'll stand up to daily use. There's a rich red painted finish that adds warmth and character to your space. An open cubby below gives you extra storage for magazines, a second book, or whatever you tend to keep close by at night.
The table includes one fixed shelf and one adjustable shelf, so you can arrange storage to suit what you're keeping there. It's compact enough for smaller bedrooms where space is tight. The solid wood frame keeps it stable and supportive. Simple assembly required, one person can manage it with the instructions and fixings provided. Wall-mounting is recommended for stability if you've got kids around the house, that's really important for taller furniture pieces.

Good table but it’s not red
It’s a good solid table, and was easy to build. My only complaint would be that it’s described as red, but in reality it’s a muddy brown. On other sites I think it’s described as ‘cinnamon’ and I would say that’s more accurate.

A bit lacking in craftmanship
This little table looks lovely at a bedside in my home, but unfortunately the craftmanship put into making it was lacking in skill when the screw holes were positioned. The legs of the table lean outwards slightly, but no allowance had been made for this, so the screws and holes did not match up. Lucky for me my partner did what he could and managed to make it up anyway, without using all the screws.

Disappointing
I bought this to go with the Kyoto side table I have in same colour. Unfortunately I was unable to build this to achieve the angled look to the legs. Not sure why it is so hard to achieve in the bedside table when the side table has the same look with no effort. I returned it.
Blah blah
Awful
Terrible quality. The back board was damaged and chipped, and because of the angle of the legs, you can't tighten the screws properly otherwise it pulls off the middle shelf. It went straight back to Argos.

Can’t recommend
Unfortunately this was a very shoddy product and a huge disappointment from a respected name such as Habitat. Not easy to assemble at all, especially as the parts didn’t fit and the leg broke during assembly! I had high hopes that it would be a stylish addition as the design is good. So unfortunately I can’t recommend this at all.

Looks good poor quality
Flat packed parts seemed like everything is supposed to be square but you need to tighten and loosen to get an angle on the legs. Poor quality construction bracing was held in with 1 thin strip of glue and ended up breaking when attempting to tighten everything together. When it arrived it looked like it had been kept in storage for years covered in dust. Batch number sticker was on the top of the table instead of the underside was unable to peel sticker off cleanly without leaving residue and ended up removing some of the paint in an attempt to clean it off. Overall very poor quality and construction

Lovely colour and shape
I bought this for the colour and shape and because it looked lovely for a bedside table for my newly decorated bedroom. A bit fiddly at the end putting all the screws in but I managed it and I am pleased with the result. Looks great and has a handy shelf for putting a book etc onto 😊

Poor quality
I like the colour of this item, it was what I was looking for and the size was good. That’s where the positives end! There were two main issues: firstly, the wood had chips and chunks out of it but the paint was covering it, so clearly during the manufacturing process the wood wasn’t quality checked and they used it regardless and painted over the damage. Secondly, the legs are meant to be at an angle as shown in the photo but where you join them to the main table this hadn’t been taken into account so you then couldn’t fully tighten up the screws as the joint where it met the table wasn’t at an angle! Overall overpriced considering the poor manufacturing of such a basic item.

Nice design and colour
I was looking for a bedside table and this was exactly what I was looking for. An interesting design and colourful options available. It looks really good and was a decent price. There was one part missing which Argos couldn't/wouldn't help me with. So I had to construct the table with one screw missing as the metal nut to hold it in place was missing. It was disappointing but fortunately it seems to hold just fine despite this issue.
