It just does it, and very well
We brought this after a recommendation from a friend. What a great gadget. It is more powerful than I expected and after the initial set up you just tell it where to clean or mop, and it does it very well. The only down point is the dust collection as it does not hold much and if I was buying again I think I would have gone for the self emptying one.

Shark 2 in 1 robot
I bought the Shark 2 in 1 robot just 2 weeks ago although it took a bit of time to connect to WiFi, I am highly impressed I've only used the hoover part and hoping the mopping is just as impressive

Shark Robot Hoover.
Honestly, my girlfriend loves this! I got one for her main christmas presents, its been such a massive help as now she gets home from work and all the floors downstairs are hoovered and mopped. She's named it Bruce from Finding Nemo as it is a "shark hoover" its definitely lifted one of the annoying things in her life so while Bruce is doing all the cleaning and sucking, my girlfriend now has time for her own sucking..... at games on the PS5.

Yes, it is safe for LVT as long as the floor is fully sealed and the manufacturer permits wet cleaning. Use Vac and Mop on hard floors only and set Carpet Zones in the app so the robot does not cross onto rugs or carpeted areas during a mop run. To avoid scratching, test a small area first, keep the mopping pad clean and free of grit, and periodically clean the wheels and sensors.
It will not fall down stairs. The robot uses cliff sensors to detect drops. Keep any runners or rugs at least 20 cm back from the edge, and set a no go zone along the staircase in the app as an extra safeguard.

The RV2620WDUKWH cannot drive itself over a stair gate or threshold under 20 cm, it must be carried by hand into the next room. Keep in mind that lifting or moving the robot (or its dock) during a cleaning cycle will interrupt its mapping process and overwrite your existing map . Once you’ve placed it in the new room, power it on and start a clean, it will perform a fresh Explore run to map that space.
This model (RV2620WDUKWH) does not support storing multiple maps. It only keeps one home map at a time, so if you carry it upstairs and run a clean, it will re-map that level and overwrite your original map.
The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 robot does not automatically sense puddles or fluid spills and mop them up on its own. Its built-in mopping mode simply drags a damp Sonic Mopping pad over hard floors—you’ll need to first wipe up any large liquid spills before running the robot’s mop cycle.
Once your robot starts its cleaning mission and is connected to the app, you have the ability to modify the cleaning power according to your preferences. Max Mode: Offers superior pick-up but consumes battery more quickly. Normal Mode: Provides a good balance between pick-up and coverage. Eco Mode: Allows for greater area coverage while conserving battery, though it will decrease suction.
