Love, love, love it! Excellent crib

I was recommended this from a friend as this was my first baby and I wasn’t sure what to go for. I’m so pleased she told me about it. Putting the crib together was very straightforward. There weren’t too many bits and it didn’t take long. The fabric is soft and removable which means it can be washed separately, which is handy for all the unexpected stains that come. The padded sides and breathable windows feel secure and look very comfortable for my baby boy. It feels like it’s built to last, whereas some other bedside cribs I looked at were quite small and I was worried how quickly he would grow out of it. The mattress is good quality and seems firm yet comfortable. I love the one hand sliding panel, it is a game changer. I could effortlessly reach in to pick him up or settle him without having to mess on. The gentle rocking feature is fantastic to. Rather than having to pick my little boy up and rock him, I’ve been able to lay next to him and gently rock the crib instead. The crib has so many different height settings, it seems to fit any bed we’ve tried. It’s great how the legs can be easily folded in, so its fine with divans where they can’t slide underneath. We’ve just taken it down and away with us on holidays or to relative’s houses when we are staying there rather than using a travel cot, as its just as easy. It also comes with a travel bag, which is ideal. This crib hits all the marks for me and my baby and I would definitely recommend!

Flimsy, Poor Mobility, Not Compatible box-spring

I purchased the Next2Me Magic EVO cot and unfortunately couldn’t be more disappointed. The overall design feels flimsy and poorly thought out, especially for a product meant to be used daily with an infant. First, this model does not work with box spring–type beds at all. The legs do not slide under the bed, which means you cannot position the cot close enough to your mattress. This completely defeats the purpose of having a bedside cot. The foldable legs are another major issue. They do not stay folded in place, making the cot very difficult to move. When folded, the legs don’t lock and move freely, making it almost impossible to keep the cot properly positioned next to the bed. The brakes are also problematic. Even when all brakes are set to the unlocked position, they seem to activate on their own while moving the cot. This has resulted in having to get out of bed in the middle of the night just to reset the brakes so the cot can be moved again. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing purchase. None of these significant design flaws or limitations were mentioned in the product description. Had these issues been disclosed, I would not have chosen this model. I would not recommend this cot, especially for anyone with a box spring bed.
