Mixed feelings about this chair
This chair leaves me with conflicting impressions. It has some clear strengths, but several quality issues let it down. Pros: Pleasant materials: The leather mix upholstery feels very nice to the touch and looks quite professional. Fixable issues: While it developed a squeak fairly quickly, it's something that can be fixed with a bit of DIY maintenance. Cons: Seat comfort: The seat could definitely be softer. For long hours of work, it feels a bit too firm. Poor finish on metal parts: The coating on the metal components is cheap and lacks quality. In my opinion, it would have been better if the manufacturer used high-quality plastic instead of this poor-quality metallic finish. Summary: It looks good from a distance, but the build quality and seat cushioning could be much better for the price.

Good solid home office chair
Extremely well cushioned and comfortable chair that is solidly built. Self assembly was straight forward with clear instructions and all tools supplied. Looks good with any home office setup. Height adjustable but no arm or posture variability - although it does not need it. The 5 point casters make it nice and manoeuvrable. Recommended.

Dissapointing product.
Very poor metal work finish. Chair was lower seat than I expected due to fit of lifter in metal base. Back to seat alighnment was badly out of position. Chair itself was comfortable and well cushioned. Poor manufacturing workmanship and no quality control.

Hello there. The Habitat Leather Faced Office Chair has a seat pad that is leather and the cushioning on the back of the seat is also leather. The main chair material underneath this, is faux leather. Hope this helps.

Hi. Sitting in the chair as I type and the answer is no. It reclines with the body (is high enough to comfortably support your head) but doesn't lock in to that position.

No fully lock it but once set to the height it will only move again if you pull on the adjustment handle.

The assembly instructions list no maximum user height, only a maximum weight: weight tested for user up to 110kg. The seat height can be adjusted to allow for a longer leg length, from 47cm to 56.5cm. The back of the seat is fixed and cannot be adjusted though so, though it would depend on how you choose to sit in the chair, it won't be as far up your back/neck as for a shorter person.
Absolutely. I'm 5ft 2inch the chair makes me look like Ronnie Corbett.
I'm not sure the back measures 26 inches from the inside from the seat and the seat is about 21 inches wide
I would say no - I'm 5' 8" and it's ideal but won't go any higher.
