This item is exactly as you see it: lovely velvet texture, beautiful dark olive green, an opaque ceiling shade. I ignored that knowing I needed lots of light in my bedroom and hence was not suitable for me specifically. The white inside could be elevated with some colour like gold. Excellent price.

Large velvet dark green lampshade
I bought a rather large new table lamp and was starting to despair of ever finding a lampshade that would fit for a reasonable amount of money. I found this shade and it is just right. The velvet is lovely and smooth and the dark green colour is warm and opulent complimenting the lamp perfectly.

Excellent value for money. More to the point, one of very few large lampshades actually available to buy. I wanted this for a standard (floor) lamp and the metal frame part fitting over the lamp holder needed to be shaped in order to make the shade sit sufficiently low to hide the switch part of the base. Not all shades have this shaped feature and on my base certainly, it just doesn't look good without it. Very pleased. Great deep mossy green colour.
