I bought this dark red velvet lampshade with the walnut floor lamp base and it looks absolutely amazing - much more expensive than it is, too. I'm going to get the same shade (but smaller) as a table lamp for another room.

This item is exactly as you see it: lovely velvet texture, beautiful dark olive green, an opaque ceiling shade. I ignored that knowing I needed lots of light in my bedroom and hence was not suitable for me specifically. The white inside could be elevated with some colour like gold. Excellent price.

Large velvet dark green lampshade
I bought a rather large new table lamp and was starting to despair of ever finding a lampshade that would fit for a reasonable amount of money. I found this shade and it is just right. The velvet is lovely and smooth and the dark green colour is warm and opulent complimenting the lamp perfectly.
