Good size pot for 4-5 people
Worked well on my induction hob and then straight in the oven for slow cooking 👍🏻 exactly what I was looking for and cleaned up quickly and easily afterwards.

Good value cast iron pot
Have used this habitat 4.7L cast iron pot for baking sourdough bread. Good size and excellent value, I only wish the lid had a fixed handle rather than one with a screw fixing.

Nice and deep casserole bowl
I like it but the issue i had is i wasnt able to use the handle for the lid, the screw was so tight, i throw handle away, had to buy new handle for lid. Would be ideal to already have handle fitted and have lid placed upside down in packaging

I bought the oval cast iron casserole and the scre wouldn’t come off the basket to be fixed on the cover. I’ve asked for a replacement and still awaiting

It can be returned to any store if collected from a convenience store. If purchased from an Argos store it would have to be returned to an Argos store.

Regarding the Habitat 4.7L Cast Iron Oval Casserole Dish - Navy:
I can advise that the cast iron interior is enamel coated and therefore will not require any additional steps before use. Just give it a clean with some warm soapy water and you're good to go.

the info provided by Argos is incorrect the internal length is approx 29cms not 31 as stated I believe the 31 refers to the outside length it is a bit odd that the dimensions are not shown on the product information this is a bit misleading
