Exactly what I was looking for
We were buying this for a specific purpose. My husband had hurt his hip, and he needed something to sit on at the right height, so getting up was not too much of a challenge. He also needed something which was comfortable to sit on for a period of time - maybe an hour at a time - so he could do his emails or reply to something. This stool was just the thing. Now he is a bit better, he is still choosing to use it. He's decided that this is a comfortable work station (he had a height adjustable table, from a while back) and chooses to work in this space time and again. He's putting up shelves nearby. Looks like this might get some long term use. Excellent value.

Faulty
I purchased 4 x chairs and 2 of them damaged internal threads prevent me from Screwing the legs in. Customer services were great and replaced.

Lovely stools
Very pleased with the stools, we did have an issue with the screws. The tool that came with it was not gripping the heads very well when tightening up. Causing them to not tighten as tightly as they should. I did try to contact Argos online chat, but kept getting cut off.

Attractive and good for the price
These look stylish and I like the swivel seat feature whilst still having 4 legs. They're a good height for our breakfast bar. Lots of padding but it does compress after a while, although so far after 1 weeks use they have always recovered. I would have liked a darker shade of fabric to hide any dirt etc. Overall, they look stylish and are a great price!

Yes, this does require assembling. It is not recommended to use any power drill/drivers for inserting screws as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers and the allen key which is provided.
