Mini greenhouse wooden
Very happy with my purchase, was a marathon to put together with 2 people it was not pre drilled or marked in any way, instructions were basic

This is not well made
The fittings were low quality and the individual parts didn't fit together well. Once made the doors didn't shut properly. Not good for a greenhouse. We had to make a lot of adjustments so not a good purchase unless you are good at DIY. In all honesty I now wish we had made one from scratch ourselves.

Mini greenhouse
Not great. Many parts warped, needing extra fixings to bring them back in line. Cheap plastic, easily scratched, windows. Not really worth the money.

Poor timber and construction
This arrived damaged, a piece had been pulled off, I have kept it because I already have one and know that it will be OK when I have repaired, painted and assembled it but it really is shoddy with splits in the timber and knots at some joints. I would definitely pay more for the same design in better timber and more carefully put together. I guess you get what you pay for although I don’t think this was cheap.

Yep
Delivered on time, by friendly driver. Solid structure, although the poly-carb sheets are very thin. Not built it yet, because he who knows best wants to put it on a solid base and January is not the time to do it.

Perfect for smaller gardens
I love this mini greenhouse, it’s very sturdy and attractive. It’s a bit rustic once put together, doors a bit tight, but it’s the nature of natural wood. It definitely needs two people to assemble, lots of parts, a couple not the same as instructions, needed extra screws, took a few hours to assemble carefully, cordless screwdriver recommended.

Looks great - not so good to put together
mainly good, great idea but let down by bad workmanship in places, needs other materials to finish it. (eg. timber by window different size and knot right at the front, so bad you can see through it)

Not a bad item
Not a bad item for the price, although all the screws sizes should be packaged separately as some are very close is size to tell apart. Used some of my own better quality screws as well. But on the whole, pleased with it.

sturdy product, looks strong enough to last well.
good design, easy to access and utilize inside space. size ideal for my patio . strong, stable, and heavy enough that won't blow over. Assembly not difficult, though predrilled holes would have made it easier. A few of fittings supplied weren't suitable, so substituted others.

We were really dissappointed
Delivery was great, prompt, helpful and polite. Sadly we were disappointed with the quality of the product. It was not easy to assemble and the wood was so warped that the doors needing planing to close. The top did not meet and therefore allowed water in. We were severely tempted to send it back but it took so long to put together we decided to try and make some adaptions to make it work.

Hello there,
The shelves are removable.
I hope this helps,
Thanks for using Q&A.
The Mini Greenhouse has got a back but no floor. It has been designed with no floor to allow a grow bag to be placed in the bottom for vertical planting. The shelves are removable so after small plants have been hardened for transfer into the garden the greenhouse can be adapted for i.e. tomato plants.
Yes the wood has been pressure treated to allow ground contact.
Hi, thank you for your question.
I have looked into your query and I can advise that the packaged dimensions of the Forest Garden Mini Greenhouse are 144 cm x 120 cm x 25 cm.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
Hi Jules
The glazing on this greenhouse is acrylic. It is becoming more and more popular as a lightweight alternative to glass, as is just as transparent so will not prevent any light rays getting through. Different plants grow at different speeds and in different conditions so it is difficult to say how plant growth will be affected.
Have a nice day.
