About this product
The Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog is designed to handle homes with pets, combining serious suction power with an Active AirClean filter that neutralises unpleasant odours. The included Pet TurboBrush tackles stubborn pet hair and ground-in dirt on carpets and upholstery, while the adjustable floorhead switches easily between carpets, hard floors, and rugs. At 7.2kg, it's a cylinder vacuum with a 4.5l dustbag capacity, and the dustbag full indicator lets you know when it's time to replace it.
Four adjustable power levels let you match suction to the surface, and the 8.5m cord plus 2m hose provide plenty of reach without unplugging. The Comfort Handle 2.0 makes manoeuvring easy, and the foot-operated cord rewind keeps things tidy. It includes a crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, turbo brush, and combination floor nozzle, all stored via the Vario clip system. The AirClean filter and odour-neutralising system help with pet mess. It runs at about 76 decibels and is built to last 20 years. Works on carpets, hard floors, rugs, upholstery and stairs.

Makes hoovering easy
Replacement for my previous Miele which lasted over 20 years. Compact, great suction, with different settings of strength. Can get into any space with this and easy to carry when doing stairs. I am glad that there are barely any changes to this from my previous Miele. I can’t fault it.

My 2nd Miele vacuum
This is my second Miele vacuum. The first one lasted almost twenty years and only stopped working when a relative used it to vacuum up a cola spillage! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Great for suction, easy to use, extra-long self-winding cable, fantastic turbo brush.

Great vacuum cleaner for pet owners — it has strong suction, picks up pet hair very effectively, and runs surprisingly quietly. The only downside is that it can struggle a bit with larger debris on hard floors, but overall it feels like a durable, high-quality vacuum built to last.

We have three cats so the Cat & Dog Miele is a must here. The suction is amazing and it gets all the fluff up with ease and leaves the carpets their real colour!
