Needed this cable quickly to get soundbar working with TV and it does precisely what it said it would! Turned to Argos who with click and collect mean a very quick turnaround and able to fit cable within 2 hours. Excellent service.

Great optical cable
Purchased the optical cable a couple weeks ago. Checked the orientation (this must be carefully done) to plug in to the TV and Sound System. All worked and still working well through good connection and delivers a superb sound.

Simple and effective connection.
I used this optical cable to connect my LG43UK6400 tv to a newly-acquired LG SQM1 2.0 soundbar. It carries the audio output from the tv directly to the soundbar, simply and effectively; and the sound is perfectly synced with the picture. (I expect the cable to be durable, but haven't had it long enough to make an informed judgement.)

From the information we have available, I can advise a 1m Audio Optical Cable alone won't directly connect your TV's optical out socket to your 3.5mm plug headphones. Optical audio outputs use digital signals, while 3.5mm headphones require analogue signals. To bridge this gap, you'll need a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC).
