About this product
This YardMaster 6 x 4ft metal shed gives you a sturdy and maintenance free space which is perfect for garden storage or doing DIY. The tall end gables mean there's good standing room inside (188cm max internal height) and give you extra storage space. 2 sliding doors give you easy access to your contents, wide enough when both open (80cm) to take a bike or lawnmower. Slots along the eaves ensure your shed is well ventilated. The silver resin finish means it will suit the back yard or in the garden and will keep its fresh looks for years.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 10-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.
Please note that the doors are located on the longer 6ft side of the shed.

Difficult to build but great once built.
It took 9-12 hours (female with help from teenage child) to build as the instructions weren’t great. They give a vague idea of what order to do things but if you’re trying to follow them step by step they don’t mention key elements. Once built the shed is very good value for money. I bought it to keep the kids bikes in, no leaks or issues so far. The shed is a little smaller than the 6 x 4 advertised but fine for what I needed.

Don't waste your money!!
I got this shed and got someone proper to build it for me and they said the instructions are shocking also once built the doors are very hard to open and close! It also say 6 by 4 but when its built its the roof that 6 by 4 the base is smaller!

Very complicated assembly
The delivery driver said this was the biggest Meccano set you will ever play with. My son and I built this I'm about four hours , both technically minded people. The instructions are very hard to follow and this is a case of you get what you pay for

Totally horrendous
My God ive had some difficult diy builds and some poor instructions that ive always managed to figure out Ive never been beaten by any diy but this monstrosity of a shed i dont think has even been made correctly nothing fits where it looks like its supposed to the quality is below par if i still had the box id return it as its just been me giving argos money for no reason Id love someone to contact me from argos with a solution to assembly of this item Total waste of my money

Decent final product but difficult to get there
The product is pretty good but the build instructions are quite basic and difficult to follow, don't expect to build this on a hurry. The send taking assembly screens require real care not to strip the threads created in the holes and I had to replace some with larger ones from my garage. Despite that the product is good for the money overall but difficult to build

All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
