Brilliant bin... if it's in the right location!
This is actually a 5-star bin... if it's in the right location! Good quality, decent capacity, quiet mechanism and easy to use. The only issue we've found is the sensitivity of the sensor. If you plan to use this bin in a corner or some 'out of the way' place, you'll find it's brilliant and worth a 5-star rating. However if you have to locate it where you regularly walk past within about 10-15cm, you'd better get used to the lid going up & down like a yo-yo! I've stuck a bit of tape partially over the sensor, which has calmed it down somewhat. I he right location, it's a brilliant bin.

Fantastic bin
I bought this a month ago and it has not disappointed. It opens fully and gives you enough time to actually throw something in the bin before it closes. The manual option is also great. It's a very well made bin and worth the money. I would buy it again.

Fantastic purchase
Bought this to replace another well-known brand sensor bin (which we'd already had to replace a year earlier with the same, as the batteries were in an awkward place where moisture and detritus were always degrading the mechanism). Absolutely thrilled with this Habitat bin. It has none of the issues that we had with the previous one. It stays open longer, is larger, and just way more user friendly and better built. Much easier to clean. Totally recommended!

Good quality
Bin works well and very sturdy. Only issue is it keeps opening every time you walk past, so the battery I'm sure won't last that long.

Very good value
Very pleased with it. Able to open the lid under the kitchen work surface which a lot of similar type of bins couldn’t do. 50 litre capacity and the bag fits securely.
